WelcomeThank you for visiting. I am an author, collaborator, ghostwriter and screenwriter in both fiction and non-fiction. My latest biography, published in 2002, traces the life of a World War II pilot. The title is "Gunther Rall: Luftwaffe Fighter Ace and NATO General." Previous books include "My Vagabond Lover: An Intimate Portrait of Rudy Vallee," which I adapted to a screenplay, and several other memoirs. I often work with clients as a writer-for-hire, ghostwriter, or collaborator, to bring family histories and autobiographies vividly to life, through diligent research and creative writing. Some of my collaborations have been private memoirs and are published through a small press exclusively for members of the family. Other books are true crime stories, self-help, and how-to books. I have written about health and fitness, technology, cooking, relationships, lifestyles, sports, motorsports, and the human condition. I have been a film and theater critic, a fashion editor, and political columnist. I write book proposals for clients, and give talks on the subject. As a journalist and syndicated columnist for 25 years,I write for magazines and websites. In addition to the Authors Guild, I am a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and Mystery Writers of America. I am a member of the Non-Fiction Advisory Board at California State University, Fullerton. ![]() Jill Amadio |
